1. How long do appointments last and what kind of appointments are offered?
Bridal Appointment (90 Minutes)A bridal appointment is for the bride visiting us for the first time. Each bride that walks into our boutique is given one-on-one attention with one of our seasoned stylists. Your stylist will go into detail with you regarding what types of wedding dresses you are interested in trying on. From there, they will hand-select gowns that will work with your vision. You and your guests will also be able to walk around the store and make wedding dress selections, as well. 2nd Bridal Appointment (60 Minutes)A 2nd bridal appointment is for the bride that has already had a bridal appointment with us and needs to bring someone special back to say "yes" to the dress! Pick-up Appointment (30 Minutes)When your gown arrives, we will set you up with a pick-up appointment where you get to try on your gown and take it home with you! This is the moment when it starts to get real! Accessory Appointment (60 Minutes)Accessory appointments are exactly what you need for finding the perfect pieces that complete your bridal vision. We offer a large variety of veils, headpieces, jewelry, clutches, belts, and sashes - there is something for every bride and her own unique style! White Carpet Experience (3 hours)White of Dublin is proud to offer a White Carpet Experience! This experience allows brides to have the entire boutique to themselves and their entourage (up to 5 guests) where they will be given the full royal treatment - a professional photographer to document every special moment, including when the bride says "Yes!" to her wedding dress, delicious treats from local vendors, champagne and mimosas,, gorgeous floral arrangements, and a private car to take them to and from the appointment. These appointments are available Tuesday-Thursday, and Sundays. This experience is $425, and comes with a $100 credit when a bride says yes to her wedding dress during her White Carpet Experience appointment.
2. How many people should I bring with me?
We recommend only bringing the people whose opinions matter most to you - they are the ones who understand that this is your wedding day and your vision. They are the ones who will protect your heart during the process and guide you in the right direction as you say yes to your dress. For some brides, that means coming by themselves, for others it means bringing a group of people - every bride is different.
3. Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?
At White of Dublin, we are proud that the majority of our gowns come with everything you need built right into them - no extra undergarments required! If you prefer to wear a bra during your appointment, we recommend it be a strapless, nude bra so it does not compromise the look of the dress. We have a pedestal for each bride to stand on, so shoes are also not necessary unless you would like to take a strut around the store!
4. What is your price range?
White of Dublin has a starting price point of $2,000 and goes up to about $15,000. If you are a more budget conscious bride, check out our sister store, Off White. Off White has beautiful sample gowns that used to be ours! Most dresses are $2500 and UNDER!
5. Do you have in-house alterations?
We are excited to offer brides an in-house alteration option. We also send each bride that purchases her wedding dress with us a list of highly recommended seamstresses throughout the Columbus area to choose from. Each seamstress specializes in bridal alterations and understands how to fit couture gowns properly.
6. When should I purchase my wedding gown?
We recommend that each bride purchase her wedding gown about a year from the wedding. On average, our gowns take 6-9 months to make and be delivered to our boutique. From there, you will need about 6-8 weeks for alterations. For brides that have less than 12 months before their wedding, don't worry! We are still able to order your wedding dress, although some designers may require a rush depending on how close you are cutting it! We also have our sister store, Off White, for brides that do not have enough time to order a gown.
7. What sizes does your boutique offer?
At any given time, our boutique offers samples to try on in bridal sizes 8-26, and depending on the designer, gowns may be ordered in sizes ranging from 00 to 32!
